Yes, this is interesting. I’m glad you picked up on this because there’s a thing called SCALE when you looking at shots and images… Film is particularly good at representing scale – the big and the small, the mighty and the insignificant… Also the fact that the shot is taken at ground level increases the contrast, as you point out.
